Training a pup to do get a beer and close doors is just assembling a bunch of smaller steps together. First you teach the dog to touch something with his nose — then you move on to having him touch an open door with his nose, and so forth. Eventually the pup will learn how to link a few concepts together and before you know it, he’s helping out in the kitchen!
